Our work in Paris
In Paris, every job for your building or business starts torch in hand, in the warm, damp spots where cockroaches settle. That inspection shapes the treatment, the follow-up check and the gaps to fill.
A German cockroach carries its egg case until the eggs hatch, and a population settles in fast in a warm kitchen. Waiting until you see cockroaches in broad daylight means acting late. For residents of a building and for a professional kitchen alike, prevention costs less and disrupts less than an emergency treatment.
Paris apartment buildings share water risers, rubbish chutes and service ducts, so a cockroach colony living behind a fridge or under a sink can spread to neighbouring floors. Ground-floor restaurant kitchens and damp cellars add to the picture, with rats and bed bugs never far away. These local features guide the inspection in Paris, as they do across the rest of the département.
We find the source before we treat
The Repère Protocol always follows the same order: find where the pests live, treat right there, check with monitoring traps, then fill the gaps and advise the occupants.
- 01

Scheduled visits: traps read, photo report, treatment adjusted as soon as activity reappears.

What is expected of you
For food businesses, Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on food hygiene requires adequate pest control procedures. During a health inspection, you need to show how pest control is organised and followed up.
For residential buildings, the règlement sanitaire départemental and the duty to let homes free of pests apply all year. Either way, dated and filed reports are the simplest way to show ongoing action.
Can you look after several buildings in and around Paris?
Yes. Each building has its own plan, schedule and reports, and you keep one point of contact for all your sites in Île-de-France.
What happens between visits?
You report activity by phone or email and an intervention is booked as a priority. The terms for these extra visits are set out in the contract.
How long is the commitment?
One year, with renewal terms written into the quote. Several sites can be grouped together; each keeps its own plan and schedule.
How many visits a year?
It depends on the site: activity, surroundings, history. The frequency is set after the initial inspection, written into the contract and can be revised.
