Approved products, applied by technicians who hold the Certibiocide

The right product, at the right dose, in the right place: your household's safety comes before quantity.

In France, buying and using many professional insecticides and rodenticides is restricted to people holding an individual certificate, the Certibiocide. It is earned through training on regulations, risks and good practice, and has to be renewed.

The certificate is personal: it qualifies an individual, not a company. That is why we talk about technicians who hold the Certibiocide rather than claiming any company label.

What we do

  • 1

    Valid certificate

Every technician who applies a professional biocide in your premises holds a current Certibiocide.

  • 2

    Approved products

Only products authorised for sale are used, in line with their label.

  • 3

    Gentle methods first

Dry steam, vacuuming, sticky traps, sealing: a product is used only where it adds something.

  • 4

    Precautions explained

Gel out of reach, secured bait stations, written advice on ventilation, children and pets.

What the training covers, and what it does not replace

Certibiocide training covers regulations, effects on health and the environment, choosing between products and alternative methods, and protective measures. It is the condition for access to professional biocides.

It sets a common baseline: reading a label, dosing, protecting occupants and justifying a choice. Experience with kitchen roaches and building-wide colonies is then built in the field.

A well-placed gel rather than a sprayed room

With cockroaches, precision matters more than volume: small dots of bait gel placed as close as possible to harbourages, in cracks and behind appliances, often combined with a growth regulator that stops nymphs reaching adulthood. Any spraying stays local.

For bed bugs, we follow health authority guidance by putting non-chemical methods such as dry steam first and keeping insecticide for cases that require it.

In your home

With children or pets at home, you know which product was applied, where, and what precautions to take afterwards.

In your shop or premises

For hygiene audits and health inspections, the report lists the products used and their conditions of use.

Your questions

Can I see the technician's certificate?

Yes, just ask: he can show it to you during the visit.

Are the treatments risk-free for my children and pets?

No biocide is harmless, which is why the technician places gel out of reach, uses secured stations and leaves you written instructions for after the visit.

Do you always use a chemical product?

No. Depending on the species and the extent, dry steam, vacuuming, trapping or sealing come first, and are sometimes enough.
